Am 30.1. fand eine Kundgebung des "Aktionsbündnisses Nahverkehr" am Ostkreuz statt. Diese Gruppe aus Mitarbeitern und Fahrgästen der Berliner S-Bahn spricht sich gegen eine Ausschreibung und für einen Verbleib aller S-Bahnlinien bei der DB aus. Allerdings soll die hohe Gewinnabgabe von der S-Bahn an die DB beendet werden, und die Qualität der Leistung durch zusätzliches Personal erhöht werden (vor allem Werkstattpersonal und Aufsichten).
Gekommen sind etwa 100 Leute. Außerdem wurden Flyer an Passanten verteilt. Auch Bahn für Alle war dabei und hat eigene Flyer verteilt.

Reason for the not so high turnout could be due to some unfortunate location of the early time, and possibly the supporting organizations. DKP flags and SAS now times seem daunting to many people. The alliance should be, if it is to be successful, rather more open to other groups of socially accepted as the Green League, BUND, IGEB, attac, train for all.
